A market with extra tools
A market asks one question and pays out on the answer. Apps add more things to do around it. You can combine it with other markets, bet on where its price goes, or talk it over with other people.
Your market page is your own. All three apps start enabled, and you can disable any you do not want. Nobody else's choice changes your page.
Enabling or disabling an app applies to every market where it works. It never changes a market or anything you already bought. Until a market has tokens, its apps stay disabled.
Token market
Will the council approve the ferry contract by 30 September?
No apps enabled
Enable an app. It shows up in this column, beside the market.
The $200 is locked before you pay.
The agenda lists the ferry item as a vote, not a briefing.
Approval with conditions may not count. Read the rules.
All three apps start enabled. Disable any you do not want.
OmenApps
The apps live in OmenApps, a tab in the menu beside Markets. Open an app from there, or enable it so it sits beside every market. Parlays and Leverage & Options open from OmenApps rather than from the menu.
OmenApps opens with three apps, all built by OmenMarketMaker.
OmenApps
Tools to use beside any market. Enable an app and it appears on your market pages.

All three apps are enabled. They appear on your market pages.
TokenA YES or NO position, held in your wallet, that you can sell to someone else. A market gets tokens once enough people trade it. Until then, the apps stay disabled.
Sign in once, then just tap
When you make an account, you also get a smart contract wallet. It is a wallet that is itself a program on the blockchain, the public record that runs every market, parlay and bet. Your money and tokens live in that wallet.
You sign once, when you log in. After that, every bet, ticket and post is one tap. You see the price before you tap, and there is nothing more to sign.
What the apps can do
Signed once at login- Buy, sell and bet in the three appsone tap
- Lock money until a stated rule releases itone tap
- Post under your nameone tap
- Show your display nameautomatic
Not possible for any app
- Release locked money early
- Change a market's question or rules
Locked money sits in a smart contract with one way out: the rule written when it was locked. Your positions are public on the blockchain, like every wallet's, so an app needs no permission to see them.
Apps made by anyone come later
At launch, OmenMarketMaker builds every app. Later, anyone will be able to build one and add it to OmenApps, and makers will keep 55% of the fees their app earns.
Market pages will then suggest the apps used most on each market, show which are trending, and add a + Add OmenApp button to search for the rest.
